You are an incredible artist but you seem to have an equally incredible lack of observation. AE (Anime Empress) has posted in this thread and there's a couple of threads done by Twisted Chi where he shows his art. Both of them are some of the best artists here at AN. But you bested them, easily.

Seeing a great artist like you it's hard to belive that your only 15. Kinda knocks my confidence down, being 20 <_< .

But just a bit of advice, in your artboard(manga) you posted, there is way to much white(free) space. From what I know, editors like you to fill in as much space as possible per artboard.

@ silentwings, I'm not sure if I'm improving with every second XD The annoying thing about my drawings is that my style keeps changing. Each time I pick up a new manga or doujin or piece of art and go, "Oh, this is nice!" my mind sort of gets messed up and I automatically switch styles. Which can be a big nuisance, especially in manga-making. AAAAUUUUUGHHH~

Coloured this with a COPIC marker airbrush~ MANUALLY.
The stuff went over the lines loads, but I cleaned it up on Corel. ^^

Okay, I really CAN'T CG for nuts, so I have to make do with manual colouring and stuff~ I coloured this with Lyze hard pastels~ which are so bloody difficult to use!!! *sob* (my advice to you : USE SOFT PASTELS!! They're easier to control! Don't touch the hard ones!) And then I just.. er, typed over it? Oh yeah, the light thingy above her left sleeve is just a lens flare I added in on Corel PPT. Kind of reminds me of what the artist of Saikano appears to do with his wide city-shots... except with a lot more presence, since he apparently fades his out a lot...

The small lil window to the right, with the face in it, looks a bit odd to me, but I'm sure it probably works better when you see the pages of the work together. The way the top of the lance the figure is holding meets the sky, it kind of looks like they just... blur together. Adding a bit of white to break it up might help...

(leaves quickly to avoid making more spelling errors and such.)

What type of Manga paper do you use?
I use the paper size 210mm x 297mm made by I.C.

Oh i forgot to add this, Which type of Pigment line pens do you use?
I have a Staedtler 0.1, 0.3, 0.5, and 0.7.
I also have a Sakura Micron 0.2 and .001.
My black background fill in is a prisacolor bold tip and thin tip.
i just want to know what stuff you use. It always turns out nice.

Well..hard to explain...do you use layers when making the pages? Do yo draw the chacters first, then stick em in the backround, or draw it all together, um...*thinking*...*thinking*...how would you go about as to writing the format of the story, and layout and such...if any of this makes sence..>_<

You know what Ive realized? I think what softening the detail in my sketches is the fact that Im using a cheap school #2 pencil. @ Innotech, actually half the time I use normal HB pencils for roughwork, and then do the lines over them again with 3B-8B pencils~ ^^ At least you can sharpen them. You can't sharpen mechanical pencils, so when the edge gets flat it gets me miffed~ can't break it because it'll become rough. >.< Oh, and thanks, by the way!! :D

@ Suki, COPIC markers cost 400 yen if I'm not mistaken. They're pretty expensive in Malaysia - RM 16. Good markers for colouring aren't easy to get here, so I usually buy one new marker only every two months. >_<

THIS is why I hate my scanner. The original picture was HUGE (you can see the WHOLE tree) and never had any of that shading crap at the side. I need a bigger scanner. Plus you're supposed to be able to see the STONES in the wall... but it looks like there's a huge white patch there. *bleeeaaaarghh*

oh, oh, oh, no, no, no, Myiabi, honestly, I believe all that you have posted is your art. (hope it didn's seem like I didn't believe you) You see, in the pic with the hand, it looks much like a fifteen year old girls hand, cause I'm a fifteen year old girl who has a hand much like yours, plus arm. ^_^ and the drawing in that pic, the style, fits with everyother. As for everyone else, I don't know what to believe. Just whoever drew it (and if you reading it) SUGOI!! Beautiful! ^_^ It's so confusing. However, I do believe that the art I first thought as yours, I still thinks it's yours and only yours.

Actually.. it's possible to have really similar art styles because that's what it's like in my doujin group, too~ of course, they aren't all THAT similar, but it'd take you a few minutes to tell the strokes apart. It took us a few years to get to that level. I'm lucky because I'm the type of person who can look at a new style and imitate it.. well, not on the spot.. usually takes me a few days or so to "break in" my hand. It used to be a problem for me because I would keep changing styles and my group leader would get mad at me and go, "STOP CHANGING STYLES!!! This is bad for our comic strips~~" ^^"

Did you do the CG editing on an LCD or laptop moniter? I found that using a lcd moniter doesn't reveal as much as a CRT (boxy) moniter does.

Awsome new works there, and I agree that pen guy does look like a sissy, but it's a sissiness that makes him intimidating... if that makes any sense. haha. Initially the tree was quite pretty, with leaves and all~ :P and then I was like, "Hey, what's the tree doing with leaves in winter??" and erased the leaves. LOLz~ and maybe after I'm done with the whole picture I'll... colour it or something.. because thus far, this looks like the kind of thing that won't look nice uncoloured. ^^

I like the school uniform one... if my school had uniforms I would want something like that... I always design my own clothes so that gives my ideas... don't ask me how... butI want to talk... like... always... anywho... I once designed this pair of jeans ((by the way there was nothing wrong with it)) and I got the jeans taken away because it showed too much skin... SHORTS SHOWED MORE SKIN than those pants.... anywho... so I'm going through a hole entire controvercy with the teacher who took them away... stupid Mr.?... UUAH I hate him... ok... that was totally off the subject... he-he... by the way... nice pictures

lol I recently wore the shortest skirt I've ever worn. (it was about half inch to an inch above my knee I think..it might have been a tad higer..not sure..think it was half inch to inch though) My Mom only let me cause it was a cosplay outfit. ^_^ It was also a school uniform.

Wah, very cute Miyabi-chan! There is something about her arms and legs that quizzles me a little, but it's not tragic let alone bad. =P (lol like I should be talking about anatomy >_< ) Be sure to post more. ^_^
