It's Wild Arms Alter Code F.

I think it's cool that they're remaking the game. I'll be getting it for sure. =)

Remake of the first Wild Arms Playstation game and is being made for the PS2. It's been out in Japan for a while already.

I promised myself I'd never buy another Wild Arms game after not even being able to even get into 2 or 3, both of which I had bought, and then they pull this out of their hat and remake the one I actually really liked.

Touche Sony. You've got my number.

Yeah, as long as they make the combat less annoying than in WA3. I got sick of it fast. Although Auto-Battle was nice.

Eh...after trying to get into two, I'm not sure I'm willing to give the series another chance...

Well, I guess I'm in favor of that, but I think it's not that old of a game. Besides, concentrate on re-releasing games like Suikoden II that cost $90 right now. Or, y'know, somethin' along the lines of Panzer Dragoon Saga.

Except it's Media.Vision, not Konami or Sega......
They're changing so much, it hardly still counts as a remake.

I never was into wild arms 1or2 but i only started playing them after ps2 came out so the level of graphics kinda killed it for me but i might give the series one more chance at greatness

Banned for letting something so trite as graphics in an RPG hinder an experience.

I have the OST here, and they changed most of the songs for the better. We have two very large casualties though: Courage (The song in Jack's first dungeon) was bastardized beyond all relief, and......... Zed's theme.................. It gets a short little interlude in the Bonus Track, and that's.............. it..............
And they better stop screwing with the names so much. Ziekfried to Siegfried is one thing, but Jack van Burace to Zakk Gauntlet? WTD?

Yeah, I suppose the music could have gone either way. I like the music in the original Wild Arms, it's pretty good, all easy to play. (Every single song is in A minor, I swear!)

I personally can't wait for it. I haven't played Wild Arms 1. It should be really cool though because I loved Wild Arms 2 and 3. I beat them both, but I just didn't care for the ending of #3. It kind of disappointed me.

I haven't had the chance to start playing Alter Code F yet, even though I bought the game months ago, but can anyone tell me if they left the final boss music playing in this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6xwT1-1T4h0) untouched, or did they dub it or just replace it with an instrumental version? Man I really wish the domestic release had the Japanese voices. :( I've played the original Wild Arms twice and love it.
