Sakura & Rock Lee?*SPoilers*

Ok i posted this somewhere else but now i see this is the proper place. Does anyone else think this pairing is possible? I mean evidence:
When Rock Lee nearly gets killed by GAara in the Chunnin exam prelims, she wants to run to his side, and is only stopped by Kakashi-sensei.

When she and Ino are picking flowers for Sasuke-kun she also picks one for Lee.

She genuinely seems to worry about Lee when he is in trouble almost as much as Gai and she seems genuinely excited when she sees him show up for the Chunin finales.

She worries about him now about as much as Sasuke.

He saves her from those sound village nin , in quite the knight in shining armor kind of way. Nobody has done this so far in the way Lee did.

Does anyone else think it's possible that Sakura has a crush on Rock Lee deep down or doesn't realize it herself yet?
Just my thoughts...
Anyway I think they make the best Sakura relationship pairing so far, it's pretty unrealistic to think she will end up with Sasuke. They have formed a teammate esque bond but just barely. He is closer with Naruto.^_^
Naruto will most likely end up going for Hinata, she already likes him and once he realizes it they will probably end up together.
Sasuke will end up alone or with some other character,maybe one of the tougher ,fighting female shinobi. I don't think he respects Sakura too much as a fighter and to him fighting and being strong is the most important thing in his life. so what do you think?

actually it seemed during the chunin exams these characters were created to be the new love interest of each character Sasuke(ino I guess), Sakura(Lee), and Naruto(Hinata). SO most likely they're there so that each character has some to be with by the end of the series and there won't be as much love lost between fans if Sakura doesn't end up with Sasuke or Naruto.

I posted this over at the club area, but I don't really think Sakura has a crush on Lee. I think she has a new found respect for him and no longer thinks he's a loser, but I don't think it's a romantic interest on her side.

I do want to see Hinata and Naruto together though, they make a cute couple. As for Sasuke, he's so obsessed with killing his brother that it's hard to say if he'll ever truly care about something else... time will tell.

Sasuke could easily end up like Orochimaru... he only has one goal and his too focus to really care about anybody else... BUT with Naruto and the other's influence he started to change slightly... now his brother's back...

My theory is if somone else kills Itachi before he do... there's almost no coming back for him... he'll go crazy... kinda like Ikki at the begining of Saint Seiya... he couldn't kill them an he hated the most and that hatred just boil inside him and made him a villain!

I think it's possible that Sakura develops a crush on Lee... he's very likeable!

I can see what you're saying Twilight but i mean Sakura respects ppl like Kakashi but she doesn't go pick him flowers when he gets hurt or rush to his side when he gets knocked down in a fight. She definetly gains alot of respect for Naruto,who also has a crush on her,but there is very little evidence that she feels any type of romantiv interest toward him besides simply respecting him for never giving up. Lee on the other hand there is significant evidence she could..just maybe..have a thing for him. I think if they spent more time together it would be developed more but there's so much else going on in Konha village it's alittle hard to carry on romances right now. Plus last time I checked Sakura is trying to give up her old boy crazy days and be more of a true ninja,symbolized by cutting her hair off remember? Lee from what I've seen is somewhat of a fan favorite among the minor characters and thus will probably be seen alot throughout the series and hopefully something will develop. for now though can you show me evidence that she doesn't like Lee in a romantic way like I've shown you why I think she does?

I've been a fan of the Hinata and Naruto relationship for some time now. Sakura and Lee, I can see something happening there for sure. I'm not sure how popular he is in Japan but the non-japanese fanbase seems to like him a lot from what I've gathered on a number of different forums. He's one of my favorite as well. I do hope this means well be seeing more of him, looks like that so far in the manga since he has reappeared. Once Sakura gets over her thing for Sasuke I hope she looks Lee's way though. I just can't stand her making herself sick over Sasuke.

This is what makes Sakura so unlikeable when it comes to fans that I've noticed. By herself or with anyone else she is fine and likeable but once she starts talking about Sasuke or worrying about him you start to dislike her.

Well, first of all I don't think she's attracted to him physically (she actually seemed pretty disgusted with his looks when they first meet). Originally she thought he was ugly and weird. Now that she's gotten to know him better I think she respects him more and thinks of him as a good friend, but that doesn't mean she's suddenly attracted to him.

Effect has a good point when he says that Lee is really popular among fans and Sasuke is kind of unpopular. I think because Lee is popular people want to see him get the girl, and because Sasuke is unpopular they don't like seeing Sakura swoon over him. As for me, maybe it's the opposite. Sasuke is one of my favorite characters, so maybe I just prefer to see Sakura pining after him.

^ I do agree that she was freaked out by his eyebrows when she first met!lol I don't remember whether she considered him 'ugly' but she definetly thought he was wierd looking. I personally,and i bet alot of other Lee fans too, thought Rock Lee was very wierd looking myself upon first appearance! I thought he was some kinda' joke character or something but eventually he makes you laugh and earns your respect and eventually becomes quite the endearing character! I think lee's look become cute after you like him, like a funny looking cat or something, and I'm sure it could be the same for Sakura. Obviously he can't compete with a bishounen force like Sasuke phsycially but I think his personality could win her over eventually. The more you like and get to know a person, the more you begin to see their attractive qualities and I think Sakura could be the same.
I have no problem with Sasuke, it kind of annoys me how he's super serious ALL the time.( No one is like that ALL the time in real life,but overall he is a pretty kewl guy. Kishimoto himself has said that over time Sasuke has become his fave character.) It annoys me when Sakura completely rejects other ppl like Naruto or Lee simply because she's holding out for Sasuke, but most of the time I don't mind her worrying over Sasuke. I dislike Sasuke a bit because he is rude an arrogant but I dislike Sakura abit because originally she was pretty stuck up towards everyone but Sasuke. Not enough to hate either character though.
Anyway any guy will seem ugly standing next to Sasuke,but I think if Sakura could accept it and get over him then she would definetly go for Lee. I mean I already said she worries about Lee alot, just like she worries about Sasuke, so if worrying is proof of her affection then she does like Lee,right?

^yahhh! ^_^ more support! I really hope Japanese fans feel the same way. I think even if Sakura hasn't developed romantic feelings for Lee YET, that eventually she will. I think that is what Kishimoto has been hinting at and him earning her respect was just the first step.
Also it seems to me Rock Lee and Sakura is the happiest match up for everyone. I mean if Sakura got her wish and ended up with Sasuke it would crush ino,her bestfriend at one time, and Naruto would feel Sasuke took another thing from him. Naruto and Sasuke have become close friends over time,as close as you can probably be with Sasuke, and if he ended up with Sakura it would put a rift inbetween them. If Naruto ended up with Sakura it might do the same,assuming Sasuke likes Sakura even a little,but her with Rock Lee eliminates this problem completely. Plus Naruto and Sasuke both respect Lee so I don't think they'd feel like Sakura,who they're somewhat protective of, ended up with a loser.

She hasn't shown anything towards Naruto but respect and concern, but hasn't shown any serious affection towards Sauske after the time jump yet either. It's up in the air. Hey, in the end, she might just get killed off, sacrifice herself or something, and then we wouldn't have to worry. I can see that happening, actually. Then maybe Sasuke would come to his senses...

I can actually see it happen. There is 4 possible out comes.
1. Sakura X Naruto
2. Sakura X Lee
3. Sakura X Sasuke
4. Sakura dies.

1. May never happen because Sakura doesn't really like Naruto but things may change once the time shift happens. And Naruto may possibly end up with Hinata.

2. I can see this happening because she worries about Lee just as much as Sasuke. Lee has saved her personaly before where as when Naruto saved her it was more for the village. Lee loves her and is very persistent so he may just win.

3. Since Sasuke turned evil I can't really see this happening. Basically I see Sasuke tring to kill Sakura because she will get in his way to kill Itachi. And by the end of the series I see Sasuke dying by the hands of Naruto or possibly Orochimaru after he decides he doesn't need Sasuke anymore.

4. Its possible but probably will never happen.

Ok I'm a SakuLee fan so I'm hoping for this couple. (Weird I used to HATE Sakura with a passion. @_@ Go figure.)

Truth is, the two most likely outcomes are either LeeXSakura or one of them dieing.

OK facts I know:

1. Sasuke DOES NOT LOVE SAKURA!!! (He's made this pretty clear. -_- Now I used to be a SusuSaku fan until this was made clear to me.)

2. Sasuke has never shown affection towards Sakura. (Yes they have a bond they're teammates. If you have a lot of strong friendships you can understand. Your friends and teammates become your family. On the same team=brother & sister=Can't be together. That is the rule I judge by. Yes, he did save her from that attack in the forest of death because he wouldn't have been able to get through the Chunin exams if one of his teammates died. Running in front of Sakura when she was protecting the bridge builder was only because of the mission. His first rank C mission and he's going to fail because his teammate doesn't have enough sense to push the guy out of the way of the attack?!)

3. True Sakura and Naruto are very close. (Notice, if you have 3 people the friendships aren't so close, but if there's only two then there's only one person to talk to. The only one left to be a friend to. That's why they're close and add the fact they're on the same team.)

4. Naruto loves Sakura (I know this! Everyone does! I'm a NaruHina fan but not a very strong one I'll admit. Again my rule for my judgement, on the same team. I don't think anything will happen. Naruto held onto that promise he made to Sakura because he knows Sakura had a major crush on Sasuke both Naruto and Lee accepted that and just tried to make Sakura happy but she won't be happy until she returns love to someone.)

5. Sakura USED to have a crush on Sasuke. (Let's define crush: short admiration. Well ok it wasn't so short but I had a crush on a guy for 9 years until I decided it was just a crush. Sakura does NOT love Sasuke, plainly said. Yes she cares for him, as a brother, a teammate and a friend. She's trying to reclaim the friendship they shared but didn't aknowledge until it was too late.)

6. Hinata loves Naruto (This is not a crush people! Proof is that Hinata's admitted it and even Sakura has said it.)

7. Lee and Sakura don't talk much in Shippuden, that's true but there has to be a reason for it. Don't you think? Just don't shout out that it's proof they'll never be together. Plus think about it? Naruto left for those few years of training so we don't know what happened in Konoha. Extra plus, if people have opened their eyes and really looked at Lee they'd see he's not going to be the one to go up to Sakura and ask her out, because in his mind it will be like "Hey now that your crush has left you hopelessly forever will you love me now?" Lee is NOT that kind of person probably why he's keeping his distant. Again we don't know what happened in those few years maybe something happened between them and now they limit thier communication. (I'm in a similiar situation with a boy)

8. Well reason 8 will be my equations:
Teammates=Siblings
Sibling+Sibling=False statement, can't happen. An equation that equals no number.
Teammates=Siblings=No relationship possible

Now I declare you have no right to argue with me unless you've read through this! ALL OF IT! This is my first and probably only post here so if you want to argue yell at someone else because I'm leaving and won't be back. This is my opinon deal with it. I have not bashed a character or anyone on this planet.

By the way the couples I support:

NarutoXHinata (Not very strong at the moment)

LeeXSakura (I believe I made my reasons clear)

ShikamaruXTemari (I think he's turning into quite the playboy though the way girls seem to be falling for him left and right.)

I think Sasuke is going to die so no couple for him.

That's it I support no others.

omg... some of you folks look waaaay too deply into this. I dont ge tthis whole "shipping" or "pairing" thing. Romance within the characters in Naruto is the least of the author's concern.

But, it seems to be hot topic not just here, but everywhere else.

i wish that was the case for Rock Lee and sakura..however i think sakura is confused..she's the type to sway though..her love will be like..if sasuke can't be with her..second it would be naruto..if naruto says no..then maybe rock lee. i really hope she doesn't get with naruto. i want hinata and naruto to be together!
