So guys what is the BEST and the WORST anime opening/closing themes you've ever heard?! ^_^

I would say the best is the ending for inuyasha called something forest by Do As Infinity!!

By the way I think the Big O season 2 opening theme is really bad but is catchy at the same time!! :)

I think the best ending music for an anime goes to FLCL. Worst seems to be the Big O ending music...

Best OP and ED. Without hesitation, Gundam Seed has the best music I've ever heard on any anime (save maybe for FLCL).

I hate to say to Eva heads, but Evangelion TV has some awful, awful music. Both the OP and ED are really, really annoying. If I hear Cruel Angel's Thesis one more time....

On the other hand, End of Evangelion has some good music (most of it is all Bach, but Kom Susser Tod is great)

Zoids: Chaotic Century Japanese OP "Wild Flowers". It just has so much heart, god I love that song. And while I don't like this anime much Zoids Zero had one kick *** [Japanese] OP, doesn't have the heart as Wild Flowers but its really cool.

Well, Japanese don't think that way. I talked in another topic about the charts of three big TV stations in Japan for the best anime songs of all time, and the result is:.....
Best anime OP according to Japanese is Lupin III no Teema (from 1978, by Pete Mack Jr.). My opinion is the same.
Generally, my opinion about famous and good anime OPs and Japanese fans' opinion match exactly. So, I can list also Uchuu Senkan Yamato, Candy Candy, Evangelion, Touch, Mazinger Z, etc, etc. Sure most of these are old anime, but hey, we're not talking about best according to young generation of fans, right? I'm talking about best of all time (people's vote).
As for the worst, hmmm..... I don't like Initial D OP. And Hellsing OP too. In the past there was not a single OP I wouldn't like. But now with this Jpop.....

P.S. Oh, I forgot about the EDs. Well, too many to count. I generally like all EDs (with a few exceptions, Initial D, for example). One of my fav ones has to be Chibi Maruko-chan's ED "Odoru Ponpokorin" which is the best anime song for the entire 1990s according to Japanese charts. ^_^

Agreed. Akatsuki no Kuruma is one of the best ED, as well as Fukai Mori, Inuyasha's 2nd ED (Deep Forest).

Best OP to me, would be Colors of The Heart, Blood+'s 3rd OP. It's so artistic! =D

I don't know if I quite have the power to use "best" but I'll throw some favorites out there
Opening: .hack//sign, which is odd since I hate the show, well the dub at least I'm in the middle of giving the sub a chance
Gokusen, I don't know why since the guy's voice kinda urks me but I'm always in a good mood afterwords so I'm gonna go with it

Endings: Boogiepop Phantom, maybe it's just cause the show's so great that the ending is by induction, but I love it
FLCL, between the fact that the scooter is running around in real world and just how excited the song is it's one of my favorites

all the inu yasha songs were great, i'd say the worst would be the songs for gundam except for gundam seed
