If you can cook I suggest making her dinner.

(It would be more meaningful if you made her dinner maybe her favorite dish, have some romantic music playing (jazz is always a good), some candles, red and/or pink roses with some rose petals on the table would be a good touch….then after dinner and maybe before dessert get down on one knee and ask her.)

If you cannot cook then take her to a very romantic restaurant for dinner (get dessert to go or buy her favorite dessert ahead of time) take her back to your place (that already has roses on the table along with rose petals), then light some candles, play music and then ask her.
