Personally I like the Seatbelts better because they have a wider verity of music, I love their jazz style and the songs are good and long so you can enjoy them more. Thats why I don’t like the Pillows that much, their songs are just to short.

:D Bad comparison. Both awesome bands, but very different styles.

It's tough, but I'm going with The Seatbelts for this one.

I don't see how you can compare The Seatbelts to the pillows. They aren't even near each other genre-wise. It'd be like comparing the anime series' Urotsukidoji to Cardcaptor Sakura.
And besides, Yoko Kanno should get more of the credit for The Seatbelts' music in Cowboy Bebop, since she is the composer of that anime series' entire music score.

Even though I love The Pillows, Ill have to pick The Seatbelts along with Yoko Kanno! I like more of the Seatbelts songs, than I do the Pillows. Does anyone know if Yoko Kanno did 'Ask DNA' with the Seatbelts?

Do The Pillows have a ska influence? :???: I have yet to hear any songs from them that are ska-like.

"ask dna"'s music was composed by yoko kanno, performed by the seatbelts, and vocals were from Raju Ramayya.
but yeah, seatbelts definatly sit a notch above the pillows in my book. the whole set of bebop tracks by the seatbelts are just beyond anything else out there in anime IMO.

Feh. They are most like softer rock than ska. Thanks for bringing that point up.

Hmm ide have to go with Yoko Kanno and The Seatbelts since i like their style of music. I also like the Pillows but their songs are too short and whilst alot of their songs i like, there are some that annoy me.

NO QUESTION. the pillows. They're too good to be true to me. They play practically every style. From jazz to reggae, punk to rock, and even a tad of metal.
The seatbelts are good, but the pillows are great.
Imo of course.
 Nice revive nano.

Certainly The Seatbelts.
Best concert I've ever been to? Steve Conte ftw. (Does he count as a SeatBELT?)
