Anyhoo, made a trip to Little Tokyo today after like over half a year(!)... and picked up Akuma na Eros [Shinjo Mayu] vol. 3, Fushigi Yuugi Genbu Kaiden [Watase Yuu] vol. 1, Tenjou Tenge [Oh! Great] vol. 8, Matantei Loki [Kinoshita Sakura] vol. 1, Vampire Princess Miyu [haha her name escapes me...] vol. 2, and D. N. Angel [Sugisaki Yukiru] vol. 9.

And Meimi-san, you're lucky you were able to pick up Furuba 13 because I have yet to get volumes 12 and 13 (the store I went to only carried up to vol. 11). T.T

The most recent purchase was Fruits Basket vol. 2. I'm only collection 3 series, CCS, FB and Kare Kano, but with the exception of CCS which is already all out, the other two are gonna take forever! I wish they'd release them a bit faster than one every 2-3 months. But, seeing as those last two are still running in Japan, I guess they'd eventually have to start doing that anyways since they'd have to translate it and all that, so if they caught up, it'd still be a long wait. Oh the troubles I go through just to see things to completion.

2 weeks ago, i purchased Itazura na Kiss manga (23 volumes) by Tada Kaoru... an old series... I have always wanted to buy the manga after watching the jdorama (Kashiwabara Takashi & Sato Aiko) back in 1998... I figured a lapse of 6 years will make it very refreshing to read the story again... plus the jdorama only retold the story till midway in the manga series... Very nice romentic comedy for anybody who loves shoujo mangas & the jdorama. Though the manga wasn't finished due to the death of the mangaka... :uhh:

Kiss Me, Kill Me (Vol 1) - it's Korean Manwha (sp?) and I'm enjoying it very much. It's a welcome change from manga. The characters are intriguing and real. It was originally self-published and I think that's why it is of such a high standard.

Technically speaking, the latest manga I bought was Gravitation. Big disappointment. I still can't see why shounen-ai fans rave about this manga.

Del Ray, granted they are new to it, but they're gonna take forever to get Reservoir Chronicle and xxxholic out in circulation. The next volumes are months away!
