I was wondering where the starting point was in that map. And if it was Gainax or somewhere else.
From higher zoom to lower zoom:

Then you see all the dots converge in the bay outside of Tokyo/Koganei City.
The only one of the 3 above I was able to find was the zoomed out one (http://buzzy.tesuji.org/images/gainax_frontpage_satellite3.jpg), I marked the spot where the "dot" was on the original. I followed up the river but wasn't able to find anything that looked like the other 2 images.

Anyone have a clue about this?

The folks discussing it were saying how because EMK is more 'psychological' in the manga, and how he inherently opposes Shinji in his choices, this shows their conflict as between two species (or something like that).

For some reason, IMO this is something worth considering.

That's none of the Evas we know. ;) Could theoretically be a male counterpart. ("This is the only way to be with Yui again...") Actually, that individual is so small, ve could only be a member of the First Ancestral Race simply dressing up as an Eva. Or the preggers chick could be extremely large.

Methods of female-to-female impregnation could include ovum fusion, biofusion (fanfic Armisael-style), and gene-diving (CE-on-Adam style, which could theoretically work with a female donor, too).

And yeah, while some of that stuff is possible, I was speaking strictly in the traditional sense of "sperm + ovum". You know, the boring, old-fashioned way.

Anyway, this reminds me that I want to get around to drawing my own Eva... You've done it (well... technically you haven't invented you own Eva in the strictest sense, but you've done design work for ones that we know next to nothing about (Eva-04) and come up with plenty of your own cool Eva-based critters), Magami's done it... I can't be left out of the loop! Of course that would require me actually getting off my metaphorical *** and attempting to draw for once, which isn't likely.

As for the Eva figures getting odd weaponry, I wish they'd actually stick with releasing some of the weapons actually seen in-show that don't usually get made in toy form... such as the long-range variant of the shoulder-mounted Positron Rifle (the one that fires over the shoulder rather than under the arm... it's used by Eva-02 in the Arael episode... only toy release I can think of that included that was the Chogokin Eva-04... I think maybe one of those uber-rare TECT resin model kits had one too, but note "UBER-RARE" there...), the modified verson of the Positron Sniper Rifle Eva-00 uses in that same episode (basically looks the same as the one from the Ramiel episode, but it has a big cylinder sticking out of the side... the Bandai LMHG Eva-04 kit actually had this, the only depiction of that particular weapon I've seen aside from the show itself), and the much-larger-than-usual bazooka that Eva-02 has in the Bardiel episode (which was probably an animation error, but one of the Chogokin Evas actually comes with an oversized model of the standard Eva bazooka which is specifically referred to as "Bazooka (Large Type)" on the box).

Looks kind of like an "exploded view", with the 'armor enclosure' broken down into its respective parts and the diagram indicating where they fit onto the leg. Dunno why the leg itself looks so weird.

Cool, but considering that this was the 80's and bad localizations were at their peak, you'd need to replace anything remotely resembling the anime (or anything foreign-looking, period) with a bulky, sweaty guy with a machine gun (presumably an "Americanized" Shinji) with lots of explosions in the background. Or maybe just paste Misato, Rei, and Asuka's heads onto the "Mobile Light Force" cover. :P

He's a fellow with a few different faces, but the more prominent one babbles pretentiously -- without regard for how many people can actually understand him, if any -- about 'sacred geometry', physics, astrology, alchemy, and the like. He's also perhaps the most creatively paranoid person I have never met. Zuggy dislikes authority, and he got banned at ANF six times (different user names) before his actual IP was banned. He also got banned at Eva Monkey & Trivial Being, and, boy, he just can't handle it.

He is extremely obsessed with me, for some reason. Clearly, Zuggy finds himself slighted by an inexplicable attraction, and, as a result, he has suffered months of violent reaction formation, contributing to his current wretched mindstate. </irony>
