Best music to listen to at night!!

What anime or game music do you like listening to at night when your getting ready to go to sleep? It's the kind of music you really enjoy hearing laying down in your bed when you start to feel sleepy.

As for me, I love to hear my occasional romantic Fushigi Yuugi OST's but I also like listening to y Sailor Moon, Slayers, Dirty Pair Flash, and Shamanic Princess OST's. ^^;;

Alot of my music is loud (xenosaga), but I listen to some of the older Gundam songs, .Hack's less loud songs are pretty good too. Other than that most of my music would wake me up.

I usually listen to a mixture of music from Rurouni Kenshin, Yu Yu Hakusho, Cowboy Bebop and Outlaw Star before and while I'm sleeping. It's cool to wake up to the music because sometimes it helps set, at least for me, my mood for the morning.

Last I heard, there were two soundtracks to the series and one coming on the way. Or perhaps there's three already.

Right now there's the ost, the single album (of the OP), and the character image album including character vocals and bgm themes.

I really would love to see another ost. The music to the series is absolutely beautiful.

Also, there is an extra Haibane Renmei OST called Puchione, that was only released as a first pressing bonus with COG 3 of the Japanese release.

I can't read Japanese...so I dunno the name of the song. I believe it might be called "Servants of the Mountain" from FFX (I remember the name from the theatre at Luca). Anyways, it's the song that plays on Mt. Gagazet. I love that song. I also like the song that plays in the Omega Ruins.

Hey! I thought you said listen to at Night! Until very recently I had been spending most nights out all night. Usually until about 2-4 am. And I always used to love to listen to dance/techno music. (It has to have words though, except for very rare cases) The soundtrack from Dance Dance Revolution is the BEST!! By far in my book. Also love songs from Night at the Roxbury, stuff like that.

The song you like is called "The People of the North Pole". I listen to the song right after that called "Wandering Flame" (Track 7). It puts me to sleep in a matter of seconds! Both songs are great songs though!

I forgot to mention it, but I also enjoy listening to SNK game music at night. It's great to listen to just before going to sleep after a long day. I'm a huge fan of King of Fighters and Samurai Shodown, and among my favorites from KOF are Psycho Solider (Athena's theme), Esaka and Tears (Kyo's themes from '94 to '99), Fairy (Woman Fighters themes '96 and '98), Soul Town (Korea team '98), Bloody (Orochi Fighters theme '97), and Kamikirimushi (Art of Fighting theme '96). I love the great traditional Japanese themed music found in the Samurai Shodown series too. SNK is known for their great fighters but also for their great music!! :P

Times New Scar, a Chrono Cross remix of Time's Scar by gutzalpus. That mix is absolutely beautiful, it calms my mind down and prepares it for a good night's rest. It might be the only thing I've found that can fight my insomnia and I love it.

"Mast In The Mist" is really haunting... The Uncharted Waters soundtracks are just awesome... I'm just so glad that the OSTs are still available.... "Close To Home" is probably my most favourite in there...

These songs put me to sleep. I don't really listen to anime soundtracks to go to sleep (they are generally less repetitive, which is what I need).

I also adore Bjork. Her voice is very relaxing.
