Few Manga Nominated for 2003 Eisner Awards

Despite prominent recgonition in past years’ annual Eisner Awards and the past year being the biggest year in history for the publication of manga in America, this year’s comic book industry Eisner Awards includes nominations for only 2 manga titles. Dark Horse’s Super Manga Blast was nominated for Best Anthology, and Viz’s Uzumaki was nominated for Best U.S. Edition of Foreign Material. Winners will be nnounced at the San Diego Comic-con on Friday, July 18th.
