CPM Not Involved With Slayers TV Broadcast

Justin Sevakis of Central Park Media has informed Anime News Network that Japanese distribution company Enoki Films directly negotiated the agreement with Twentieth Century Fox to broadcast Slayers on Fox Kids’ beginning sometime this month. Central Park Media, who released the Slayers TV series on home video in the US, has had no involvement in this rumored TV premier. Anime News Service has received an official “no comment” from Enoki Films’ American division regarding the deal. Thus, it remains to be seen if the report is indeed true, and if true, remains to be seen if and how the series will be censored for television broadcast and if the Central Park Media dub will be used or if Fox & Enoki films will broadcast an original translation or dub of the series.
