First NakaImo Trailer Released

The homepage for the upcoming Kono Naka ni Hitori, Imouto ga Iru! (One of Them Is My Younger Sister!) anime television series has added a streaming teaser. The trailer does not include any animation footage. Studio Gokumi’s adaptation of Hajime Taguchi’s romantic comedy light novel series stars a high school boy surrounded by girls, one of which is his long-lost sister. But he doesn’t know which. The anime will premiere in July.

Second Okami Kodomo Trailer Released

A second, more substantial trailer for creator/director Mamoru Hosoda’s anime film Okami Kodomo no Ame to Yuki (The Wolf Children Ame and Yuki) has appeared online. The new film from the director of Girl Who Leapt Through Time and Summer Wars will hit Japanese theaters on July 21.

The homepage for the upcoming Moe Can Change! OVA has added a 15-second teaser. Studio Frontier Works’ adaptation of the simulation/dress-up game from developer Ambition will be released on April 26, delayed from its originally scheduled May 25 release date.

KoiChoco Teaser Released

The homepage for this summer’s Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate (Love & Election & Chocolate) television series has added its first teaser trailer. Studio AIC Build’s adaptation of the erotic love simulation game from developer sprite/fairys will premiere in July.

Looks like a hybrid of Mashiroiro Symphony & Amagami, which is good for viewers that enjoyed either or both of those series.

New Blood-C Movie Teaser

A new teaser for Production I.G’s Blood-C: The Last Dark motion picture has surfaced. The film is set one year after the events of the 2011 TV series. The movie will hit Japanese theaters on June 2.

This, finally, looks like what the TV series should have been from the outset.

First Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita Trailer Released

The first trailer for this summer’s Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita anime TV series has surfaced. Studio AIC A.S.T.A.’s adaptation of Romeo Tanaka’s light novel series is set in the distant future and stars a human girl who works as a mediator between the dwindling number of remaing humans and the fairies that have become the world’s dominant species. Seiji Kishi (Angel Beats!, Persona 4 The Animation) is directing.

Kyokai Senjo no Horizon II Trailer

The homepage for the critically panned Kyokai Senjo no Horizon anime series has added a streaming trailer for its upcoming second series. The sequel to the 2011 sci-fi action/comedy based on the light novel series by Minoru Kawakami will premiere in July.

This looks entirely like more of the same from the first season, which should be gratifying to the handful of viewers that inexplicably actually liked the first anime.

First Sword Art Online Trailer Released

The first trailer for July’s Sword Art Online anime TV series has appeared. The 26 (estimated) episode series from studio A-1 Pictures will adapt the light novel series by author Reki Kawahara.

This looks frighteningly similar to .Hack. But hopefully this will be a bit more exciting than the .Hack snooze-fest.

Little Busters TV Announcement Trailer

Game developer Key has produced its own anime trailer to confirm the production of an anime TV series based on its 2007 visual novel game Little Busters!

The trailer was reportedly assembled by Key. The animation studio producing the TV show has not been revealed yet.

Extended Okami Kodomo Teaser Released

An alternate cut, with new footage, of last month’s Okami Kodomo no Ame to Yuki teaser trailer has just begun airing on Japanese TV. The fantasy film from director Mamoru Hosoda (Summer Wars, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time) is scheduled to hit Japanese theaters on July 21.

Noitamina Announces Two New Titles

The Fuji TV network has announced two anime TV series that will air in the Noitamina timeslot beginning in October. Psycho-pass has a teaser trailer but no additional public information. Robotics;Notes will be an adaptation of the Xbox 360 & PS3 video game of the same name from publisher 5pb. The game, due out on June 28, will be the third “scientific adventure” game from 5pb following Chaos;head and Steins;Gate. Production I.G will animate the TV series adaptation about a school robotics club in danger of being disbanded.

Natsuyuki Rendezvous Anime Announced

Kou Matsuo (Kure-nai, Red Garden) will direct an anime TV series adaptation of Haruka Kawachi’s romantic drama manga Natsuyuki Rendezvous for broadcast in July on the Fuji TV network’s Noitamina programming block. Studio Dogokobo will animate. The four-volume josei manga serialized from 2009 to 2012 revolves around a love triangle between a widow who owns a flower shop, the ghost of her deceased husband, and a young man who works at her shop.

Saitama’s Four Seasons Promo Anime Released

The Saitama Prefecture has released its latest four tourism promotion anime shorts. The four episodes of “The Four Seasons” depict the Saitama region of Japan in spring, summer, fall, and winter. The episodes are available in English, Japanese, French, Chinese, and Korean subtitles.
