Welcome to another weekly update! While we’re waiting for our part of the anime-industry government bailout (we’re sure it’s coming soon…) we’ll keep you updated on the latest news and deals here at AN.

NEW IMPORT MAGAZINES

The import magazine shelves restocked with a vengeance yesterday. New and recent backissues from Newtype, Hobby Japan, Asuka, Megami, Comic Tenma, Comic Megastore H and more are piled up waiting to ship out to happy homes. Lately we’ve been selling out of many import mags, so be sure to grab yours while we have them. Also, we will no longer be carrying import hentai magazines, so you’ll want to grab them while we still have them.

BEST SELLERS WRAP-UP

Here’s a quick tally of some of the best selling titles over the last week or so. Looks like many of you didn’t want to rebuy the whole collections of NHK and Pumpkin Scissors, so #6 of those series are the winners this week.

For hentai, Cleavage was the clear favorite, with Ride of the valkyrie a close second.

Over in books, Megami (December ’08) followed by the Zelda Sheet Music.

Due to a distribution snafu, we had a little trouble on some of them, but we managed to finally get them all handled.
