Sentai Acquires Kill Me Baby

Sentai Filmworks has revealed its acquisition of domestic rights to last-year’s 13-episode comedy television series Kill Me Baby. The adaptation of Kaduho’s four-panel comedy manga revolves around a pair of elementary school girl friends: one is an assassin, and the other is cheerful but especially stupid. The series will stream before hitting bilingual DVD later this year.

Is this Sentai Filmworks’ first bilingual DVD-only release that isn’t a license-rescue?

No, actually Sentai has released a few bilingual series only on DVD that weren’t rescues. Their first was Blue Drop. They also did Book of Bantorra and a few others.
