[See Robotech vs. Macross sales.] Discotek can probably go the subbed route, because there are enough people willing to front the higher MSRP costs for the run. Not sure if the same can be said for shows with more &quot;primitive&quot; animation. Though I think at least Speed Racer would sell well enough subbed, if Lionsgate wasn&#039;t sitting on it.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[Tracking down the original masters for something this old must be tough, but the series was released on DVD in Japan, so what&#039;s the issue with using that footage? Shawne seems to want to re-create the experience older Americans fans had with the original American release, but unlike Astro Boy, it seems like the appeal is far less for this series.

I can&#039;t see this release doing well at all, but hopefully I&#039;ll be wrong. I won&#039;t be purchasing it myself.]]></description>
