Discotek Acquires Go Nagai Titles

Discotek has announced its acquisition of domestic translation & distribution rights to creator Go Nagai’s 1972 Mazinger Z and 1973 Cutey Honey anime television series. The 92-episode Mazinger Z will begin its official American release in winter 2013. The seminal 25-episode Cutey Honey action/adventure series will be released in a single DVD boxed set next year.
