Yuasa is a pretty odd choice for &quot;testing the waters&quot; of crowd-funded, exportable anime. He draws in more of an alternative comics crowd than a Ghost in the Shell / Akira / Cowboy Bebop etc. audience.

If this fails to meet its $150K goal, I hope the industry / I.G. doesn&#039;t take this to mean that crowd-funding is a dead end.]]></description>
