Beast Saga Anime Announced

Shueisha has announced word that Takara Tomy’s multimedia franchise Beast Saga will get a TV anime series. The shonen adventure series depicts anthropomorphic beast aliens that battle each other. The franchise presently includes collectable toys, a dice battle game, and a manga serialization by Manabu Honjo.

    Waaaaait. Weren’t there toys like this (and also a cartoon) about characters who had animals on their armor, and the animals jumped out? “______aries” -something like that.
