Opening A Day

To refresh your memory or introduce you to an interesting opening animation sequence, I submit the very odd opening of the very odd 1998 comedy TV series Sexy Commando Gaiden: Sugoiyo! Masaru-san. The opening theme is “Romance” performed by Penicillin.

    Never could I take shounen action genre tropes seriously after watching this show.

    W.T.F? This looks like it would be a great Excel Saga companion/ one of the inspirations for Level E.
