The homepage for the Working!! anime franchise has added a streaming trailer for this October’s second TV series. The second season will be directed by Atsushi Ootsuki (Ladies versus Butlers!) and written by Takao Yoshioka. Yoshimasa Hiraike performed both duties for the first series.
Animate is now streaming the first trailer for the Mashiro-Iro Symphony anime TV series based on Palette’s Mashiro-Iro Symphony -Love is pure white- ero PC game. Manglobe is animating the production under director Eiji Suganuma (Kodomo no Jikan, Sasameki Koto). The show will premiere in October.
The homepage for Studio Soratia’s promotional anime Shimanchu MiRiKa has announced the development of a full TV series. The 2010 Shimanchu MiRiKa promotional anime was comissioned by the Okinawa Chamber of Commerce to promote Okinawan agriculture and industry. The TV series will premiere this fall.
Distributor Pony Canyon has announced that a Hoshizora e Kakaru Hashi OVA will hit Japanese DVD & BD on December 21, shortly after the December 7 release of the final home video volume of the 2011 television series. The HoshiKaka website reveals that the OVA episode will introduce a new OVA exclusive character.
The official website for this December’s K-On feature film confirms that the movie will be set after the events of the second K-On!! television series. Specifically, the film will depict the girls’ graduation trip to England. Early rumors suggested that the movie would be a side-story set prior to the end of the second television series. The movie will premiere on December 3.

The website for the long-in-development independently produced sci-fi/mecha/action OVA Kotetsu no Vendetta has announced that development of the “Episode 0″ OVA has stalled because production sponsor Ankama Japan, subsidiary of French company Ankama Games, has gone out of business. Doujinshi circle Thumbnail is now looking for a new sponsor to enable completion of the production.

The homepage for Satelight’s Moretsu Pirates anime series has announced that the anime’s premiere has been delayed until next year. The adaptation of Yuichi Sasamoto’s sci-fi adventure novel series was initially announced in 2009 under the title “Mini-Skirt Uchu Kaizoku” (Mini-Skirt Space Pirates). Its anime title was changed in March 2010.
