Live-Action Cowboy Bebop in Trouble?
In a brief interview with Collider, actor Keanu Reeves said about 20th Century Fox’s tentative live action Cowboy Bebop motion picture, “I haven’t heard anything back. They turned in the script and it was very expensive. I don’t know if they’re going to… it would cost, like, half a billion dollars to make that script. So, I don’t know where it’s at right now.”

Either James Cameron has his next movie script or Keanu isn’t very informed when it comes to movie budgets and special effects.
Besides, even if the script calls for ridiculous special effects, expensive sets, a multitude of actors, and a 4 hour run time, they could just animate it instead . . . nevermind. Animating a movie like Cowboy Bebop would be silly.
