Opening A Day

To refresh your memory or introduce you to an interesting opening animation sequence, I offer the opening of the 2003 TV series Texhnolyze. The theme song is “Guardian Angel” performed by Juno Reactor.

    A nifty opening. Too bad the series wasn’t so memorable… or good, for that matter.

    Did you watch the whole thing? It can’t be the Texhnolyze I saw. It was very memorable, especially the ending. I also thought it was very underrated if not good/great.

    Although I did buy all six R1 DVDs, I didn’t make it very far into this series before it lost my interest.

    Yeah, I watched the entire series. I wanted to enjoy it, that’s for sure… I like ABe’s artwork a lot. But the anime droned on quite a bit, and I was never able to engage the series any more than he production design. There are plenty other anime that do this, I’m sure… ERGO PROXY maybe (I enjoyed some of the earlier episodes of this title, but the anime fell into a rut rather quickly).
