Gunpla Builders Trailer Online

Bandai’s homepage for the Mobile Suit Gundam plastic model franchise is now streaming a two-minute trailer for the upcoming Mokei Senshi Gunpla Builders Beginning G anime. The first of three chapters of the “Beginning G” anime will premiere on August 10 at the at the Gundam Super Expo event, screen on the BS11 satellite TV network on August 15, and stream online beginning August 20.

    MS Gundam wouldn’t have been revived as a set of feature films, let alone had the Zeta, Double Zeta, Char’s Counterattack, or other sequels, spin-offs or game successes if the Bandai model kits hadn’t been a fan phenomenon back around 1980. This is Gundam finally coming full circle.
