Love Live! Multimedia Project Announced

Japanese publisher Media Works, anime studio Sunrise, and Bandai Visual’s music label Lantis, are collaborating on the development of a multimedia franchise titled “Love Live!” This “ultimate user-participation project” will star ten school girl anime idol singer characters. Fan voting will determine the girls’ appearances, including hair styles and clothes, and their future success and popularity. The Love Live! franchise will initially launch with a bundled CD single and anime music video. Advance copies will be sold at Comic Market 78 from August 13-15. Wide release copies go on sale August 25.
