FUNi License Rescues Four From ADV
FUNimation has announced its acquisition of distribution rights to the Chrono Crusade, Gantz, Kaleido Star, and Peace Maker Kurogane anime television series. All four titles were animated by Gonzo. All four were previously distributed on American DVD by ADV Films. FUNimation has not yet revealed any details about their release plans for these titles.

More than a little late for these, don’tcha think??
Even though it is my favorite anime, Kaleido Star is a perfect example of an anime which really, economically speaking, never should have been made.

Not sure I’d agree with the assertion that Kaleidostar wasn’t viable since it lasted 8 kuru and got an additional 3 OVAs. It was obviously successful and popular enough to get more anime than Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Peacemaker Kurogane, Gantz, Chrno Crusade, and lots of other fairly successful titles.
