NIS America to Release Anime
NIS America, the American subsidiary of Japanese video game developer Nippon Ichi Software, has announced plans to launch anime distribution in North America. NIS America’s initial four titles will be Toradora!, Persona -trinity soul-, Pandora Hearts, and Our Home’s Fox Deity (Wagaya no Oinari-sama). Releases will get physical distribution with collector’s items beginning later this year.
Good shows that have taken too long to reach America. It’s certainly surprising to see them coming from a new distributor, though.

Can’t say I’m familiar with the company… but will this be yet another extension-of-Japan sequence of title distribution, which are often mismanaged?

Those are all great anime, but I’m disappointed that Funi didn’t acquire them. At least we’d be guaranteed a dub. Unfortunately, I predict that these will be sub only. That’s probably good news for the sub only people.
