		<description>I&#039;m confused a bit by this distinctive Japanese tendency also.  I think it has to do with a Japanese sense of privacy and tact. It&#039;s okay to say reveal that someone died of an &quot;illness,&quot; but specifying exactly what illness - whether it was pnemunonia or AIDS - may be considered inappropriately intrusive of personal privacy.</description>

		<description>I find it strange that a lot of times when a Japanese citizen dies there is mentioning of a unspecified illness. This phenomenon is apparent even in anime. I wonder why that is. Could it be that the disease has some negative stigma attached (no pun intended). Cancer or Aids for example ?</description>
