King of Thorn Movie Trailer Released

An official web page for Kadokawa Pictures and director Kazuyoshi Katayama’s (The Big O) King of Thorn anime feature film has launched, featuring an English friendly trailer promising a 2010 worldwide release.
The spectacular trailer looks exceptionally faithful to Yuji Iwahara’s original manga, and the narrative nature of the story should make it particularly well suited for international distribution since it’s a speculative sci-fi action story not specifically tied to Japanese culture. Honestly, this trailer is so good that it gives me goosebumps.

I like how they’re using the American Library thing as a selling point for the Japanese site. ^^ Anyway, it looks like RE: Degeneration without the suck.
