Possible Live Action Paprika?
Moviehole reports that director Wolfgang Peterson (Troy, Air Force One) is eager to develop a live action feature film based on Yasutaka Tsutsui’s 1993 sci-fi novel Paprika. Director Satoshi Kon adapted the novel into a celebrated anime film in 2006.

Someone on a different board once made a snide comment that Paprika was a rip-off of Existenz.

BTW, the Vertical guy told me the only way to get the Paprika novel is to import the U.K. edition, because that company’s the exclusive holder of the English-language rights. ;-;
