Another Version of Evangelion 1.0 Surfaces

The Mainchi Newspaper reports that NTV producer Nozumu Takahashi has confirmed that the version of the Evangelion 1.0: You are (Not) Alone motion picture that will air on the network in Japan this Friday will have a modified ending, making this the third alternate version of the movie. The movie was released in a “1.0″ version theatrically in 2007. It was released on Japanese home video in 2008 in a revised “1.01″ version.

This week’s TV broadcast of the first movie coincides with last week’s tremendously successful theatrical opening of the second of four planned Rebuild of Evangelion movies.

    Nice. Now we need to know what version Funi is going to use for the Blu-Ray. 1.0? Pass.
