Spice & Wolf Second Season Episode Zero Scheduled

The current issue of Dengeki Maoh Magazine reveals that Isuna Hasekura and Juu Ayakura’s next Spice & Wolf novel, “Okami to Kin no Mugiho” will be released on April 30 in a package that includes an original “Act O: Okami to Kohaku-iro no Yuutsu” anime DVD prologue to the second Spice & Wolf television series. The novel and DVD will reportedly be released “right before” the second anime television series, meaning that the second TV series could possibly premiere in May.

Ask John: Will Windy Tales Reach America This Year?

Question:
It’s going on 5 years now. Do you think Windy Tales has a chance of an American release this year? I don’t know if it makes a difference to licensors, but Production I.G usually sell well when they’re released, and everything Junji Nishimura has done in the past has been very popular. It’s no Magical Girl Show #63, but the animation and story are genuinely unique and original enough, and an anime about wind might be relaxing for the upcoming summer months.
