Universal to Produce Bakugan Movie

Universal Pictures and its affiliate company Stuber Productions (”Role Models”) have signed a deal with Canadian toy company Spin Master to develop a theatrical film based on Spin Master’s “Bakugan” property, itself based on the Japanese Bakugan Battle Brawlers television series from 2007. This past September Spin Master announced that Japan’s TMS Entertainment would continue to produce “Bakugan” animation for North American release. The Bakugan television series currently airs six days a week on the Cartoon Network, frequently ranking as one of the network’s top ten programs.
