Second Wolf & Spice Series Announced
The official homepage for the Ookami to Koshinryo (Wolf & Spice) anime television series has announced development of a second TV series. The first series, based on the fantasy novels by Isuna Hasekura and Ju Ayakura, aired from January 8 to March 25, 2008. Brain’s Base (Baccano, Natsume Yujinchou) will take over animation duty for the second series.
This is excellent news, as the first series was too short to adequately develop its characters and story.

Fantastic. They also did Kamichu and Kurenai– which looked pretty good for its first half at least. My hopes are vaguely up for an inspired production worthy of the series’ unique premise.
