Viz LLC has officially announced that it will merge with ShoPro Entertainment this spring, forming a new American distribution company for Japanese comics and animation. Viz LLC is jointly owned by Japanese publishers Shogakukan and Shueisha. ShoPro Entertainment is a subsidiary of Shogakukan.
