Ask John: Is Kotetsu only One Tape?

Question:
Will Kotetsu only be one tape? Was it a canned series like Dragon Half?

Answer:
To the best of my knowledge, the Kotetsu no Daibouken manga is still running. That’s why you see so many characters in the opening animation that are not in the actual OAV. The 2 episodes on the AD Vision tape, though, are currently all of the animation that exists, and those two episodes came out in Japan over a year ago.
