Adult Swim to Broadcast Hellsing Ultimate

FUNimation has confirmed that Adult Swim will broadcast the “Hellsing Ultimate” OVA series during its Toonami programming hours beginning September 13 at 3:00AM. The episodes will be heavily edited to meet TV-MA broadcast standards and fit within one-hour broadcast spans. FUNimation will release the final two Hellsing OVAs, episodes 9 & 10, on domestic home video on October 28th.

Factoring in time for TV commercials, Toonami’s “hour” broadcast timeslot allows for 43 minutes of program. Only OVA episodes 2 & 9 are 43 minutes or less without edits.
